The protein encoded by this gene is a transmembrane protein found in the cis-Golgi complex. The encoded protein is part of the multisubunit transport protein particle (TRAPP) complex and may be involved in vesicular transport from the endoplasmic reticulum to the Golgi. Mutations in this gene could be responsible for the Unverricht-Lundborg type of progressive myoclonus epilepsy, or for autoimmune polyglandular disease type 1. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Gene Symbol : TRAPPC10
Gene Name : Trafficking protein particle complex 10
Chromosome : CHR 21: 440,123,24-441,065,51
Locus : 21q22.3
This gene encodes one of two family members belonging to the T-cell ubiquitin ligand (TULA) family. Both family members can negatively regulate T-cell signaling. This family member can facilitate growth factor withdrawal-induced apoptosis in T cells, which may occur via its interaction with AIF, an apoptosis-inducing factor. Alternative splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2011]
Gene Symbol : UBASH3A
Gene Name : Ubiquitin associated and SH3 domain containing A
Chromosome : CHR 21: 424,038,61-424,476,79
Locus : 21q22.3
